Produces a standard EPC069-12 GiroCode. Scannable in most European banking apps to pre-fill a SEPA transfer — euro accounts only.
The secret is encoded straight into the code — everything stays in your browser, but treat the finished QR like a password.
Paste the whole LPA:1$… string from your carrier if you have it — the fields below are then ignored.

MeCard is a shorter alternative to vCard that older Android cameras read more reliably. Use the vCard type if you need photos or multiple address fields.

UPI (Unified Payments Interface) is India's real-time, bank-to-bank payment network, and every UPI app already knows how to read a standard upi://pay link — which is exactly what this generator builds for you.

Enter your UPI ID (VPA) — the name@bank handle your bank or UPI app gave you — plus your name, and an optional amount and note. The generator encodes them straight into a upi://pay?pa=...&pn=...&am=... link, the same format banks and payment apps use behind the scenes. There's no payment gateway, no merchant account, and no transaction fee taken by this tool — money moves directly between the payer's bank and yours, exactly as if they'd typed your UPI ID in by hand.

Leave the amount blank to let the payer enter it themselves — useful for a general "pay me" code at a stall or counter. Fill it in for a fixed-price code, like a specific invoice or a set donation amount.

Frequently Asked Questions

Clear, direct answers to common questions about generating and deploying QR codes.

Any of them — Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM, and any bank's own UPI app all understand the standard upi://pay link format this generator produces.

No. This works with a personal UPI ID just as well as a business one. It's a direct peer-to-peer or peer-to-merchant link, not a payment gateway integration.

Yes — leave Amount empty and the scanning app will prompt the payer to enter their own amount, which is useful for tip jars, donations, or variable-price sales.

No. The QR code is built entirely in your browser from the fields you type. Nothing is uploaded, logged, or stored anywhere.

Double-check your VPA is typed correctly (it should look like name@bank) — a malformed UPI ID is the most common cause. See our Scannability Tester if you suspect a print-quality or contrast issue instead.
