Why We Built This: Fighting the “Free Trial” Trap

In 2024, we noticed a disturbing trend. People were creating "free" QR codes for wedding invitations, business cards, and restaurant menus — only to find the codes broken 14 days later, unless they paid a monthly subscription.

Dynamic QR code services deliberately made static codes feel inferior. But the truth is: for the vast majority of use cases, a permanent static QR code is exactly what you need. It never expires. It doesn't require an account. And it belongs to you, not them.
