A SEPA payment QR code — known formally as an EPC QR code or GiroCode — packs the details of a euro bank transfer into a single scan: the beneficiary name, IBAN, optional BIC, an optional amount, and a payment reference. Most banking apps in the euro area read it natively, so a customer scans the code and lands on a pre-filled transfer screen with nothing left to type but their PIN.
This generator builds the exact EPC069-12 version 002 format the European Payments Council standardised. Enter the beneficiary name and IBAN (the only required fields), add an amount if the payment is for a fixed sum like an invoice, and use the reference line for an invoice number or member ID. Leave the amount blank for a reusable "pay us" code on a donation slip or membership form.
There is no payment processor involved and nothing is uploaded — the code is assembled in your browser and the money moves directly between the two banks, exactly as if the IBAN had been entered by hand.
